My dad was just telling me about how to watch for a tsunami after we heard about the devastation that one caused. It's interesting to know that someone, namely a little girl, recognized that and did something about it.

What impresses me in addition to the knowledge and quick thinking of this young woman is that people actually took her seriously and reacted to what she told them. Many adults wouldn't take a ten year old seriously if the water was lapping at their ankles.
