this is very true. my friends got a huge couch for free from craigslist and it was the best couch i ever slept on.

I have no idea how involved I'll be in the hiring process. I hope at least somewhat, since I know I'll be really involved in training.

If Dad doesn't give you silverware from the drawer of mystery mismatched silverware, I've got a whole baggie full of it that I'm not using at present.

Also, my friends with retail jobs say that only seasonal employees are being hired right now, and, unfortunately, the best time to apply won't be until March, after the seasonal employees are let go and the post-Christmas slump (Jan. is the slowest month in retail) is over.

My mom is going to search the attic for anything she can give us in the kitchen department.

Also, there's a mattress sale so we could probably get a decent one for $150.

Plus I can get 20% of the moving van.

Also, do we need a dresser/toaster/the like?
