I've been feeling some chest pains recently, and it's a little bit unnerving. After Dos packed 'er in, I've been feeling a bit more mortal than usual, so I went to get my heart checked up last week, and today I've got this huge, awkward halter monitor taped to my chest for the next seventeen hours. The worst part of it all - actually, well, the ( Read more... )

You are a pretty rad dude. Sometimes you speak in World of Warcraft language, and I'm totally lost there, but otherwise you are good to talk anime with and to recommend you stuff, you usually seem to like what we recommend and that means you have GOOD TASTE, except for that Lucky Star thing which I totally don't understand BUT WE CAN'T ALL BE PERFECT. You post good pictures and CG sets on the channel too. It's also kind of funny watching you try to inconspicuously drop hints about your tastes in manga perversions considering that just about everyone is as deep or deeper in the rot than you are; it's good to keep a healthy sense of restraint about it at least. Your father infuriates the fuck out of me.

What to say that I have not before? Sometimes you're a bit hard on people when you're on the warpath, sometimes it's not entirely warranted I don't think, and you do hold some pretty fierce grudges. You're way too hard on yourself as far as your creative output is concerned, but I suppose I am too, and sometimes seem too reliant on the validation of others, again a sin that I share. If someone doesn't comment on your fanfiction, I'm sure someone will eventually, and it won't be some shitty little illiterate comment by some 400 pound Downs' Syndrome-afflicted Kingdom Hearts fanatic. Shit fiction gets lots of reviews because it panders to its audience and doesn't intimidate, and often the "community" creates this insular mutual masturbatory wall of praise. But you are awesome and talented. I have to say that I'm not always keeping up with your fanficteering since that's not really my bag, but what you wrote on EA and on Nanshiisan is lovely. And yeah, I do feel our personalities do sometimes clash, but I love you all the same ( ... )

Yeah, I'm kind of concerned about that. My chest hair was just the right length before, I'm kind of concerned I'm going to have some kind of natty chest afro now.

You're my sister, so it is just about impossible for me to think anything bad about you. In fact, really, I'm pretty much the fuckup sibling here; the Billy to your Jimmy Carter, the Roger to your Bill Clinton, the Simon to your Hans Gruber, the Sid to your Poison, the every other Baldwin to your Alec. I do kind of envy your talent, although yeah, I figure that my lack thereof is more a failure of mine to stick with anything than some kind of genetic asymmetry between us.

Although I still think one of us is adopted.

Holy hell I wasn't expecting that. I suppose your somewhat active lifestyle will help you go into this heart being bad business.

Stick it in me.

I thought the active lifestyle was supposed to prevent that sort of thing? Well, maybe I'm bagging my body like I bag my bike or something.

Kunio, you are a strange character. You seem to have a pretty excellent grasp on English, but sometimes when you get excited, I have trouble making out just what the hell you're trying to say, sometimes hilariously so. I'm not actually sure why we all had the hate-on for you back in the day anymore? I know you did say some nasty stuff to Tron and Brooke, but I guess that's mostly because we kept pushing you too. Who knows? My memory of those days is swiss cheese run through an industrial hole punch. I can't really say I'm much for the furry anthropomorphized animals thing, but you seem to find lots of interesting stuff in your journal. It's a nice change of pace. Sometimes you seem to take the Something Awful culture a bit too seriously, but I think taking the internet as a STERN OCCUPATION is something we all do to some extent.

I can get the whole animal people deal, as i had some folk unfriend this journal because of it (But still having a friendly manner with me if I chat to them on another places). That is preety understandable.
The Tron and Brooke deal, viewing from the current perspective I have, seems mostly more of my fault.
