This morning one of the mailing lists was discussing freeware equivalents for commonly used applications, and came up with this list. I thought I'd pass it along.

GIMP - the GNU Image Manipulation Program (alternative to Photoshop)

Inkscape vector graphics editor (alternative to Illustrator, CorelDraw)

PDFCreator (alternative to Acrobat Pro)
