Oooh, this was wonderful. It must have been hard for Peter to lie like that... And Mozzie! Of course he recognized the painting immediately, and of course he exploded. *Hugs him.

I'm still hoping for a real reunion, but at least Mozzie knows now that Neal is alive. For the time, it will have to be enough.

Well, if it weren't for you and your comment, Mozzie would not have found out until later. :D I almost wrote a huge reunion scene, but in the end, decided to go halfway - for now. But trust me, I have the scene already plotted out. When I get to it is another issue entirely though.

Great story! I am glad that Mozzie knows that Neal is alive. Hopefully one day they will get to see one another. :)

gotta say, other than peter not knowing, moz not knowing was the worse thing about this. now that he actually knows... I don't feel as bad, though I still hope neal and sara can come home someday.

Thanks! I do think it really killed Neal to have to keep it secret, especially from Mozzie and like the show, I knew he had to have a really good reason to stay hidden. It definitely still hurts him now, with the latest events, but it's a big decision to make. But don't worry, I will reunite them!

Thanks! Oh, of course, Mozzie would recognize it. Although I have to admit I didn't think about it until Sheeni brought it up. In fact, I hadn't even thought about how this case would resolve itself since Gregory's takedown became the main plot in the last fic. Oops. But now Mozzie at least knows... or highly suspects!

*eyes fic plate* Um... well... it's planned! When I'll get to it, I don't know. *sheepish look*

But yeah... the whole faking death plotline is now even more painful because of the show. I had only wanted to see how he would handle going back into WitSec. Then the plot snowballed, and I feel bad that Peter mourned for five years. We thought one year was bad!! But I had a specific scene in mind, and that was Peter finding Neal in a good place. That took time.
