Oh, you don't know how happy I am to hear that! I knew mpreg was a hit or miss trope with some people. Thank you for just giving it a chance! (I'm pretty sure I spoiled you, so you knew ahead of time)

I try not to make it the focus, since it's really about N/S, but it IS there. And for some reason, it just fascinates me. I know, it boggles the mind. But hopefully there is enough N/S to make up for the insanity. :D

As for the mpreg, at this point it's more in the background, so I wouldn't worry too much :) But even mpreg can be interesting if it's well written - in fact one of my favorite stories of all time is mpreg, despite the fact that it's been abandoned, it's a Suits fanfic (which I almost never read) and it's a pairing that I don't really ship.

Oh, thank you! I think what excited me most about writing this fic, was weaving in all the WC characters and elements, while creating this other backstory. I've never written AU before, so that was fun.

I'm debating whether to post twice a week or stay on my normal weekly schedule. You might twist my arm to post early. We'll see. :D
