I'm alive!! And feeling like a sheep. Snagged from my flist.

Give me the titles of one or more fics I've written, and the numbers you want me to answer for it.
You can find my masterlist here1: What inspired you to write the fic this way ( Read more... )

Oh man, you would pick that fic! (I barely remember it)

6. What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?

I think this was my first episode tag for White Collar. And I'm not sure if I regret it or if I've changed opinion since then... but I think it was born out of reading fandom reaction. Which I hadn't before that season. I think I got more riled up from reading everyone else's reaction, than properly digesting things and just enjoying the show. Sure, the two of them needed to talk, and every once in awhile I feel the dichotomy and unfairness of Neal's situation here and there, but normally I just sit back and enjoy without getting upset. So I'm not sure how I feel about the fic now.

9. Were there any alternate versions of this fic?

Umm... don't think so. It was basically a quick pour our my feelings and post it. :D Now if you ask me that about other fics, you'll get an ear full!

14. Is there anything you wanted readers to learn from reading this fic?

Learn? From fic? Umm... Not really.

15. What ( ... )

Fair enough :) I have a few stories myself that I have mixed feelings about, so I know that feeling.
Have fun writing whatever you're writing at the moment :D

Yeesh, you guys are picking the old ones! I have to think back!

5. What part was hardest to write?

Honestly, like most of my fics, writing the romantic parts is the hardest thing for me. But I also remember that I struggled when I chose to expand from one quick short fic to a full fic with backstory and whatnot. As I recall, you were the instigator - you wanted more. I obliged. :D

11. What do you like best about this fic?

I loved the carefree and funny banter between Neal and Sara. It was just so THEM. I was very proud of that. I haven't really been able to capture that lately.

5. What part was hardest to write?

Hands down, the sex scenes. I cannot write romance or smut to save my life. I think Sherylyn helped clean them up for me.

9. Were there any alternate versions of this fic?

ROFL. This IS an alternate fic! Or at least it was spawned off another mpreg crack idea. Methinks I read Rabidchild's fic too many times. Although this fic itself, I tossed around a lot in my head until everything gelled. And more so how the next few years go, which I eventually split off into another fic. (yes, I will get around to finishing it!)

12. What do you like least about this fic?Probably the fact that I'm whumping Neal so much. Realistically I know 10 cycles is too much, but I needed him at a certain point, having a few under his belt and still a few to go for the tension and angst and the plot I have coming. I'm slightly caving and considering giving him a break in the sequel. But no guarantees ( ... )

1. What inspired you to write the fic this way?

As a drabble? Hmm... probably the fact that for once, a really short snippet came to me, and I actually wrote it down instead of letting it fester into a bigger idea or ignoring it because it was so short. That and I was wanting to make Qwerty laugh.

11. What do you like best about this fic?

That I managed to write it, itself! I mean, me?? I can't write anything short these days! Or quickly. And I didn't try to overthink it with background. That's a pretty big accomplishment for me.
