Thank you! I will admit that I literally started to brainstorm by thinking up something for you - Peter, Neal, fluff. Of course, after I got the Christmas cookie idea, I was a bit bummed to find out during my research that France doesn't do the cookie thing. But! Then I found out that the Alsace region does. Woo-hoo!! Then another list had some more, and I don't know if it's right, but whatever. They're French. :D

You're so sweet. Indeed we don't really do Christmas cookies (and generally, we don't worry much about cookies decoration....), but don't worry, as they're American, I'm expecting American traditions, so that seems normal. :)

Alsace (and Lorraine) was German for some time, so they adopted some German traditions that are not in the rest of the country. Like celebrating Saint Nicholas and eating gingerbread on December 6th.

Thanks! Yeah, I was floundering with the ending, and wanted some humor. It was obvious then, and yes, I actually researched vegan/lactose free cookies. I'm sure some of them taste good, but I doubt Mozzie has that talent!

Awww, sweet (in every meaning of the word!) XD Of course, Neal's artistic side would come to shine, even when it's just decorating some cookies. And I some of the cookies you named in there, like the vanilla crescents, and the Linzer cookies (my personal favorite, next to sandwiched marzipan strips, dipped into dark chocolate at both ends).

I confess that's how I actually decorate cookies. :D A few years ago I had a lot of fun with the Toy Soldiers. My mom just shook her head and then finished the rest of them off with sugar so she could get them in the oven!

Linzer is one of my favorites too! Although, we make them differently. It's more a lattice then the traditional window style. I'm not sure if that's my mom's German upbringing or what. But oh! Marzipan! I discovered that a few years ago when I visited Germany. LOVE IT!
