Liked how you covered time while getting to the wedding. Their personalities came thru pretty much in canon. Neal's mini flashback to high school and maybe regrets. Sara being Sara.

Awwww, this was amazing. I really love all the shades of their relationship that you have here; their friendship, the shaky ground between them after Cape Verde, Sara's tough exterior and vulnerability, her trust issues not only towards Neal, but her friends too (and the way it links to Emily and her parents), Neal being his sneaky, cheeky self yet also doing and saying all the right things and having Sara's back. And of course he remembered about the wedding even after all those months.

“You’re not planning on stealing the silver, are you?” I LOL'd at this. You've got to love their banter :D

And I really like how this fits into canon too, because. Totally could have happened.

Oh, yes! Thank you! I didn't really start out with a huge idea, and all those nuances, they just came out while I tried to flesh it out. To give her a reason to not want to talk about her past, etc... All I wanted was some fluff! So glad you picked up on how it fits in canon. I was so tickled when I got the bouquet toss considering soon after, Neal is going to 'propose' to her!
