I'm way overdue for a massive update, myself. Real big stuff going on these days. I'll have to see to it before we move and I temporarily lose Internet access. Like, in a few days. c_c

Good to hear that you've been dealing okay with, well, life in general, even if there are rough patches. Sorry to hear about your brother. You don't choose family like you choose your friends; you gotta deal with their excesses one way or another. Ah well!

Hi there! Thanks for posting and updating. I'm glad the good things are going well. As for the bad things... Here's a hug. *hug* I'm sure you'll get through it all.

Trust me, though, I know how family can be. There are a few members of my family who are making choices I wish they wouldn't... one or two are absolute train wrecks. I guess all anyone can do is offer counsel and love in the appropriate measure. Everything else is up to them, in the end. I worry, sometimes, which is natural, but I can't make their decisions for them. }:/

I look forward to desert pictures. I should take more photos myself, but... motivation and time are in shorter supply than I'd like. x.x

I should take more photos, too. It's just so hard for me to see nature's art. All I end up doing it trying to take the perfect balance between lit and natural light. Despite most people trying to convince me that natural light is good, and flash photography is bad. Whatevah, I do what I want.

There's a time and a place for everything, and it depends on what you're going for. Since there's rarely a right time for the onboard flash on my SLR, I don't use flash very much, but now and then I do, Puffer and all.

I really do need a better strobe. But that 24-105 f/4L is likely to come first. Whenever either of them does. }XD
