I know you disapproved of the Executioner, and his methods of raising power....but the result of his work was invaluable.

The method may differ...but I have decided to empower Walter to the same end. He can not be a judge, It is not in his nature, but he can become a conduit.
I can feed only on the...darker...emotional range, but power takes many forms.

If it can be gathered from many sources, it would be possible for me to take it into myself through those means that I always have, and thus no irreparable damage is inflicted.

Staying inside, and being vigilant are rather different.
She is capable of caring for herself in most situations, but her body and 'reitsu' ( as the shinigami call it) was going through a rather drastic change.

It was reckless to leave, alone and at night, while there are those who have proclaimed open season on shinigami.
