Such a simple question, but the answer is far more complex, and to most would seem somewhat confusing.

Death is merely a doorway, and while for many mortals it is a door entered only once, there are those who have been afraid of the unknown.
It is possible to be drawn back without voluntarily understanding how.....but no dead thing may be given it's old life back without the desire that such be done.
