Wasian Day
Look Jeewon!! I'm finally posting our pictures cuz my computer stopped being stupid long enough for me to email them to myself!
So I picked him up directly afer his audition (congrats again on being Jesus) and I met his dad who reminded me of my mom for some reason, despite the whole Korean and Filipino differences. Anyway, then I drove us to Fair Oaks mall where we obviously had a huge party as you can tell by the pictures. Yes.
Jeewon thought this was an Asian store, possibly a restaurant. So then we were like, Let's go on a quest to photograph everything Asian we find.
This led us to Dry Ice, the girly store which has amazing furniture and lots of pink stuff.
Then we went inside Hollister's, which I think is frightful. They block all the windows and it's so freaking dark in there, which made it a little weird when we just grabbed shirts from the tables, put them on in a dark corner, and took pictures.
Jeewon picks out TERRIBLE shirts to make me wear. ;P
Then we went to... Abercrombie? Or one of those grody little preppy stores?
And I was like, JEEWON, WEAR THIS!
and he was like, AMANDA WEAR THIS!
And we went to the Discovery Channel store, played with the squishy toys in the back, and went on the massage chair... (he wouldn't let me play with the telescopes...)
He also got weirded out by Hot Topic, and it was the FIRST TIME he ever went inside. ;P I should've made him wear something, seriously. rargh.
Then we went out to eat, and Jeewon decided that we should go to the Korean store, which is kinda like Global Food Market, except it specializes in Korean foods and is smaller and tighter inside. But they have AWESOME fried rice kimchi. I approve muchly. I also found out that the Korean Market is RIGHT behind the autoshop that, when I was a little kid still living in Merrifield, I always thought was a haunted house.
So we drove around looking for movie theaters because we botched the time of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and then I didn't want to see any of the movies at the ghetto theater. But we took pictures of ourselves in the parking lot.

But we continued botching our movie plans and suddenly Jeewon was like, CAN WE GO PLAY MINI GOLF?? So I'm like ehhhh fine okay. Cuz I've never played minigolf before! But it was TONS of fun and I made a hole-in-one at the 17th hole or something and I was super proud of myself. We also saw a scary lady and we made up a story about her.
Then I drove him home and we went to the playground...
and I'm not posting my swinging picture cuz I think it's dumb, but I'll send it to you, Jeewon.
So yeah, I had a good day playing with Jeewon, and I think it made up for not getting to play dress up during WSS or LLL. HOORAY FOR EXCITING WASIAN ADVENTURES. :D
