1) I wish people could abandon their own tone, their own voice, just for a moment - this anonymity is a thin veil and our words give us away. If we knew you couldn't pin us, I wonder how many of us would change how we answer

2) Things that require a lot of work, but have a distinct answer and yield a feeling of success. And friends.

4) I'm like an azide ion. I have a strong bond with myself, have a negative "charge" or attitude but not a really negative one, and I'm rarely seen bonding with anything, or seen at all.
5) You're like ammonium. You're seen out and about all of the time, you're "soluble" in any group, you have a positive attitude, and your personality is made up of several distinctly different parts. You have a low molar mass (:P) and you...like...to react with strong hydroxides to form ammonia gas? Okay, the last bit fell apart, but I think the polyatomic metaphors rock socks.

Also, ammonium azide is an illegal hazardous material. I find this hilarious.
