1) You're wrong. You'd be a perfectly outstanding father, should the occasion arise. That doesn't mean I'm telling you to procreate, mind you, just that I've seen you with a kid, and you're fine.
2) Always, ALWAYS!, carry duct tape and a pocket knife. And the phone number of a good nearby mechanic. ;-)

Well, thank you Lora, that's very kind of you to say. One of my favorite stories is of my own Dad, and how he drove around for hours and hours looking for a specific gift for my little brother. I was 9ish at the time, and I remember realizing right there that I could never do that. My parents sacrificed and struggled and demanded so much of themselves on our behalf that.. yeah.. no. I have a lot of admiration for good parents (and scorn for terrible ones) but I know my limits. :)
