Ooh, now I'm really curious about your Issues with the story structure. It was fun, and one of Thor's buddies was hot. /shallow.

Hey, I'm with you on shallow. Hence my desire for redeemed!Loki fic.

Basically, I just thought there wasn't a whole lot of plot to the plot, as it were. The sequence on Earth seemed largely pointless, and I didn't think there was enough going on for Thor to really have a change of priorities. Also there was a ton of telling that was not at all shown. Loki is mischievous? Oookay. Odin is wise...? The scientists do science? Sloppy.

Yeah, I felt kind of bad for (and confused by) Loki. What was his plan again? Or was he making it up as he went along?

They came close to showing the scientists do science, so that's a really sad miss there. It wouldn't have taken much to work a little sciencing in.
