I saw the new Pirates movie with Mom and Jimmy today. I was expecting to actively dislike it, so I was pleasantly surprised that parts of it were quite fun/interesting/entertaining, and the rest was not generally as irritating as I had feared ( Read more... )

When I played ME1, my husband was able to outfit my character with gear that compensated for my n00bousity, such that I could just walk through bullets for a while if I had to while I was struggling to aim, or whatever. I still had to get help with thresher maws (HATE THEM), and the one time I got the mako impaled on a turret gun (I am so awesome!), but I was able to play something like 99% of the game All By Myself.

Not the case with ME2, alas. :(

I am very hopeful that 3 might have some "easy mode" type options that will allow me to do more of the gameplay on my own.
