Happy birthday DeeDee!

The painting is beautiful. I totally love this photo. Is there a LJ RSS feed for your art blog? I'd so add it to my friends list.

Aw, thanks Giada :D :D
Also, the LJ RSS feed is a really good idea! I just looked into it, though, and apparently you have to be a paid or permanent member to make a syndication journal. Arrrrrg LJ.

That's dumb. I could make it for you. What name do you want for the feed? I just tried "openedeyes" and that's (unsurprisingly) already taken.

Oh yeah, you're a paid person! That's handy :D Yeah, makes sense that that username is taken... "openedeyes_rss" would work well, and I'm sure no one has claimed that one yet. The feed URL is http://feeds.feedburner.com/Openedeyesnet
Thank youuuuu!

Happy birthday Dara!

I think a random name is okay, given that it's an art blog and the title relates to art. firstnamelastname.com seems very much like a resume rather than a gallery...it's also boring :\

I think the photo with the flowers in front of the marina in Nova Scotia is my favourite. It also makes me want to go to Nova Scotia, since I've never been past Ottawa/Gatineau.

Thanks muchly Kat! :D
You should definitely go to Nova Scotia one day. It's BEAUTIFUL and I can't believe it's been four years since I was there. Then again, it would take a long time to get there from the other end of the country! Why is Canada so big anyway? :P

I was in Montreal yesterday! Pretty much all I did was go to a restaurant and drive around getting lost in construction and blocked streets, ha. It looked pretty awesome though, hopefully I'll get to return some day to actually do things there =D

Montreal is a pretty big city, and would be pretty easy to get lost in! It's a nice place though. Usually when I go with my family we end up staying in the suburbs (ew) to visit various family members who live there, but the downtown is pretty cool. They also have a ton of strip clubs apparently, haha.
