having babies
getting married
graduating college
scoring better jobs.

I'm a line cook and in debt. The only exciting event was getting a Playstation 3. Which, if I saved my money, would have paid off a chunk of my debt.

It's the circle of life!

I would guess that is because you are still young. Most of the people I know that are STILL edge are all 25+. I don't know anyone that has a kid (except my best friend, who isn't very punk). I know a handful of people that are married, and I suppose that does lead to less hang out time with them, but it makes the times I see them better. I suppose I hang out with a bunch of slackers, because most people I know are still in school, many approaching 30. The thing about Portland, no one wants to work, everyone works enough to make ends meet, and the rest of their time is spent being a stereotypical Portlander

well it's good to take it one step at a time, me having a baby wasn't planned but it's one of the best things to happen to me
