i had pneumonia when i was like 20 months old and was in the hospital for like 2.5 weeks.. i don't remember it, but the doctor basically told my parents i wouldn't make it because i was so young and my immune system prety much sucked. he said that if i DO live, i'll be 99% likely to have asthma. well, obviously i'm not dead, and neither do i have asthma. go figure
