The reason I watch so few "good" French film (Truffaut, Godard, Renoir, etc.) is because the only way I have to see them is to buy them. I'm sure they must be available somewhere online but I don't know where ! Sorry !

I'm glad you approve of my selection (and especially of Dirty Dancing !) !!

I'm a HUGE fan of that show. To sum it up, I love everything about it. My Mom, sister and I are quite hooked ! I'm halfway through season 4 (we were waiting for the dvd's to come out). It's the only criminal show I've ever followed. I know you love it too :)

Oh my goodness, thank you so much for that post. I am in dire need of old fashioned films now that I have holidays for four weeks before my summer school starts, so I'll definitely watch the films as you listed above. I have seen Breakfast at Tiffany's. So GOOD !!

JAMES DEAN. That's all I need to say about that ;o)

Bender is my favorite character in The Breakfast Club, too! I very much like your list of films, they're all so good.

Also, how come you hate your haircut? How much did you cut off?

I ended up watching some of my favourite parts of The Breakfast Club and that was really enjoyable. I love when Bender tells Claire : "Remember how you said your parents use you to get back at each other? Wouldn't I be outstanding in that capacity? ". I can't believe it dates back 1985 ! I wasn't even born and yet, here we are, still watching it and thinking how "current" it is.

I didn't cut off that much (maybe 5/6 cm) but it's rather the way it's cut. It's a bit more straight and "serious" but honestly I'm sure it's not that noticeable. It's Ok now. After a few days, I got used to it and I learnt how to arrange them so that it didn't look too straight and serious. Oh Hair...an endless topic of conversation... Speaking of endless topics of conversation, yes, James Dean *sigh*....
