I wrote a few words about the last episode of True Blood which I loved !
I thought it was really good ! It's slowly getting back on its feet. There are still some unanswered questions but it's getting more and more captivating !
01 : GODRIC is back ! When I understood the scene was a flashback from Eric's past, I got really excited and was hoping Godric would make an appearance. And there he was, being perfect ! He was on screen for only a few minutes but it was long enough to see his charisma and the soothing effect of his presence. That's what I love so much about him. We need more Godric !
02 : There are still a lot of storylines. That's not really a complaint but it's a bit unsettling and I'm scared it might get out of hand. It was funny and useful for the plot to follow Bill at the King's (even though the end with Lorena was a bit bewildering : I'm not sure I know what was going on !) but I hope he's not going to remain on his own for too long. As for Sam, I like him so it was interesting to learn a bit more about his family but I really don't know where that's going. What I mean is that I hope the writers have some exciting plans for these two.
03 : Jesus was introduced !!!! I was really disappointed to see Alcide wasn't going to meet Sookie in that episode but Kevin Alejandro's first appearance in the show made it up for it. I was so happy and excited when I heard he had been cast !
04 : I really love how Lafayette has become such an important and solid character in the show. You can always rely on him to help Sookie or Tara, speak with the best accent, say the most funny things and be full of surprises.
05 : I love Jessica ! That's old news, I know ! It was nice to see her team up with Sookie. It must happen more often. I hope the whole chainsaw/dead body in the ceiling won't take her too much time ! And she needs to get back with Hoyt as soon as possible. How handsome does he look with his new haircut ?!
06 : James Frain/Franklin Mott is so creepy and cool at the same time ! I'm sure it's going to be good. Poor Tara, though. That doesn't seem promising for her.
07 : And now let's get to the best part of that episode : the Eric and Sookie scenes ! How good were they ?! I really loved how serious and unshaken Eric looked in their first scene. I just really loved the way he was. I thought it was a new side of him. Now that Bill's gone, it feels like he sometimes has to be the responsible one for Sookie. It was really nicely shot too, the way they were standing and then sitting face to face. Like I said, Eric looked very responsible and trustworthy but at the same time, well it's not Eric Northman for nothing : look at the way he was staring at her and the way he was sitting ! It was perfect.
