The Virgin Suicides

In 2009 (I think) I started writing short reviews for the books I was reading but I stopped for no reason. I thought it was really fun ! I remember it led me to talk about those books in details with some of my friends here. So I thought I could try to do that again, maybe ?

What a beautiful review. I'm so curious now. I love havig time on my hands to check new books out and I'm adding this one to my list (which is already too huge to mention).

Hope you have a great weekend, too!

I absolutely loved this reviw! What a great idea :D
The Virgin Suicides is one of those books that taught me a novel can be so much more than a story. The way it's written is so unique and beautiful. The attention to detail on specific objects is really captivating. And mirrored with the darkness that permeates the book, it just works so well!

Have you seen the film directed by Sophia Copolla? It's really amazing.

Yes, I have. I saw it years ago and now that I've read the book, I really want to see it again. I have a great memory of it !
