What a gorgeous story. I love that Petunia is real in this story and that she isn't just Harry's evil aunt. I think Harry would forgive them, too. Great job!
Thank you! I like to explore the emotions of various characters, since in canon we only get to see them through Harry's eyes, which is an incomplete portrait at best. That, and the idea of doing something with Harry's funeral wouldn't leave me alone. I usually don't like to kill him off. I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you! I was debating about whether or not to put in something about Voldemort at the end, since no one tells Petunia whether he's dead or not (In my head, he is), but the last line wouldn't let me.

Thank you! I'm glad you saw it that way. I do hope that Harry can find some sort of peace in the end, and I think the only way for him to do that is to let go of all these grudges (justified or otherwise).
Wow. Just........WOW. I love fleshing out the Dursleys, and I agree with your take that Petunia and Dudley are the more 3D, sympathetic characters, as opposed to Vernon, who's just a bully straight out.
Thanks! I'm glad you agree about Vernon. I just think his prejudices are too deep-rooted to ever change. Petunia, though, she must have loved Lily once. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
