Don't know. Dark Horse already have a lot of barbarian stuff. Will they want more because they have it down already, or will they not want it because they have enough?
Move it to a different time? Make use of him never dying? Do something new?
Slightly against the barbarian stuff personally. They've got a ton and well I just wasn't a huge fan. I liked the story idea quite a bit. So what I'm saying is, different time. I guess it could be rooted in some such past since he's immortal. But the problem with that to me was how do you bring up his brother and all that. So move the whole thing, I guess.
Dump it all in one period and avoid the jump in time? Could be done. Relocate it to Eastern Europe. Plenty a mess there. Can get away with just making places up, too.
And, for me, it was more the threat of the return of the brother than the brother being back. A fight against a possibility, as opposed to a fight against a real person. But hey, modern means I can at least give him a gun. Although, picking a recent era shall be awkward. And then you lose the elements of the old gods. Did people buy into the Fates and the gods past the Old Times?
