Happy for some of you...

That you have faith in thinking someone can change things. I really have my doubts but at least he has good intentions. (but so does every president elect)

By winning, he's already changed things. :)

don't agree with that at all. Until he actually starts working on things. Lets see who he picks for other offices. Then I might believe in some of his smoke and mirrors.

I assure you the names that have been tossed around to be part of his new cabinet are well qualified and inherently less evil then what the US and the entire world have been exposed to over the last 8 years. One thing no one can deny is that Obama, like him or hate him, is extremely intelligent. Intelligent people surround themselves with other intelligent people. Stupid people surround themselves with people who will ignore their stupidity. I.E. Bush's cabinet of ultimate evil.

I don't think he's going to change anything! My heart sank when I saw McCain was losing last night.

Although I think anyone...and I mean anyone is better than what we have right now.

ON a separate note... How are you hon? I havne't seen you in so long! How's Ric & Karen doing?

yeah even leavign the office empty would be better than Bush.

I'm ok, have a decent job for now. (you never know) I've gotten smaller than I was. karen and Rick are ok i guess. I don't see that much of themliving across the stare from me. From what I read and hear from mom..they are good. 4 years married now.

No they are still in the same place. I still live in Belmar. About a hour away..

I still have probably about 30 pound until I would be estatic. I'm content right now but in my mind far from done.

Yeah..I wont believe it till I see it either.I mean any on says they are gonna change this or that. But actually changing something is where the problem is.

Since it is common practice for elected presidents to completely ignore any campaign promises they made, I am waiting for that proverbial other shoe to drop. Damn, coulda been really snarky and said jackboot. ;-) Ah, well, at least I'm starting to be able to see humor somewhere this morning.

Think about how much things have changed in the last 8 years.
Someone really can change things.

yea, problem is everyone looks at the president as being responsible for what has gone on rather than the criminals in congress. the legislature needs a SERIOUS cleaning out before things will be able to get substantially better.
