The guitarist is talented.. better be considering his father is a-fucking-mazing as a guitarist as well as comedian. So there's at least one good thing in their favor!

google Brian Haner. He is currently touring as a comedian with Jeff Dunham as "guitar guy". We saw him open for him last year, and he plays in his performance(obviously)and blew us away.It was ver reminiscent of Yngwie. He has also done work with Avenged as well.

I picked up city of evil and it was ok. The self titled one I like better. If you have the other two can I burn copies?

I often find myself in a vicious love/hate relationship with what I consider the newer breed of melodic metal (I'm sure there are 'official' pigeon hole designations, but I care not). These are bands that, to me, have distilled a lot of different sensibilities into a very interesting spirit; it's just one that, in my ancientness, I'm not sure how to grasp correctly. These include, but are not limited to: Avenged, Dragonforce, Dimmu Borgir, Mushroomhead, and a lot of weird Scandinavian stuff. I'll often find myself loving and loathing vast sections of music at the same time. One thing that always rings round my head as I go through this, is that if I were a wee metal lad I would probably be lapping this up much like I did to the Metal Gods of the Past. It is a conundrum and I swim in it often to work on the issue.
