Modern Manners
I went to a pub on Friday night. Admittedly that's hardly unusual. Nice place; bit of a local, decent beer and an interior with points of interest. The bloke kneeling down blocking the entrance and clutching his bollocks seemed to be a recent addition to the décor.
A couple of pints later my companion returned from the ladies where she'd encountered a couple of members of staff; one female, one male. The barman proceeded to bang on a cubicle door and announce, "Come on, you've had long enough". At which point a conspicuously nonchalant bloke came out followed by an embarrassed looking woman.
Which leads me to a question on etiquette. If you're having a shag in a pub toilet how long do you get? And, once the landlord has called "time" do you get ten minutes to finish off?
