In fact, if you looked at our apartment this evening and compared it to a week ago, you'd be hard-pressed to note any significant change in the mess. I've got a ton of books I should probably get rid of. I wouldn't mind giving them to Open Books (otherwise, they're just going to Goodwill).

Not a problem. About how many do you have? Since Open Books won't do pickups outside of the city, you could bring your books down here, where I can arrange to have them picked up.

i would give my pile of books to go to open books, except i think that having to ship them half way across the country would probably be counter-productive.
