I love this. The sharp lines coupled with the soft shadows and the smoke/light effects... It's just perfect.

I think this is fantastic! I really like the hands and the expression on their faces.

OHMYGOD, CAS/MEG FANAAAAART! And it's gorgeous--the juxtaposition of light and dark. *saves frantically to hard drive* I don't care if they're natural enemies, I've smelled their potential the second Meg gave Cas the "Clarence" nickname. Ahhh, I have such a soft spot for these two. I love you forever, I do. *___*

Hee! Thank you very much! ♥♥♥
I think the fact that they're natural enemies is what makes their dynamic so interesting. To me anyway. Haha. Even their personalities are polar opposites.

Yes! I love this interpretation. There was a power struggle taking place between them anyway, right from the first time they met. Seeing it from a mythical angle is awesome. And this picture makes Castiel so much more non-human than usual, I really LOVE that.

\(^o^)/ You have expressed in words EXACTLY what i was trying to convey through this drawing! Unlike the physical brawls he had with other demons, I felt that his power struggle with Meg was more subtle, which allowed the underlying conflict between their angel/demon natures to be more apparent. I even viewed their kiss as some form of powerplay rather than actual interest.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! I love drawing Castiel looking all badass in his angelic glory and having Meg there as contrast only served to bring it out even more.

Oh, awesome! :D I agree it's not what it seems. I never saw it as being specifically sexual (though they are pretty hot). I see it as something in them responding to an energy in the other that isn't "ordinary" for either of their species. I doubt the show will explore such an idea, which is a pity.

I'd love to know what/who Meg was before she was a demon (and why she still uses the name of the first person she possessed, who is now dead). She's just a fascinating character.

Ah yes! That's what makes their interaction so interesting to watch.

Me too. I love Meg as the antagonist. I remember being terrified of her in the earlier seasons. Haha. I'm hoping she'll turn out to be a major player in the current story arc.
