Thank *you* - for taking the journey with me. I know it was a bit of a bumpy ride. :) I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

I'm incredibly flattered by your fulsome praise - especially because there are so many good writers, and wonderful stories, in Merlin fandom. I'm glad you found it emotionally believable - when you're writing something this intense you're in constant danger of falling 'over the top'. Phew.
And thanks for reccing - that's the biggest compliment of all.
(PS oh yes, I love me some Rufus. ;))

This was just brilliant from start to finish. I loved the script transitions, I thought they tied the fic together nicely. Though your characterizations were great, I especially liked Katie.

Wonderful job with this. Definitely going in my favorites.

Thank you for taking the time to respond at various chapter stages of this fic! I'm glad you liked the transitions. They were a construct that occurred to me fairly late in the process, that I went back to the drawing board to weave in - so I'm really chuffed you think it worked. And gosh - praise for my Katie, who I've never written before. Unexpectedly welcome. x

you're welcome, sorry I didn't hit all the later chapters, I was really into it and didn't want to stop ;)

I love your writing style, (I've reread Mull several times).

ALMOST SIX IN THE AM NOW, AND I DON'T REGRET A SINGLE MOMENT.

God, this. OH MY GOD! All the freaking love in the world, ugh. I WEPT I LAUGHED I AM PRETTY SURE I ATE MY HAND IN ANTICIPATION, and holy shit that was wonderful. I love getting my heart broken in this way, because the payoff is always infinitely sweeter in the end. UNFFFFF ♥

Will be back later, perhaps no much more coherently but in any case with more words.

THANK YOU FOR THIS, and for making a crappy day so, so much better. djashgfjhg miraculously, I've been dying for something long and angsty but sweet ALL DAY, and right before I was (SUPPOSEDLY) going to bed, this showed up. PERRFFFECCCT. <3!!!

Oh derryere - I love your fic so just to see a comment from you was great. But this one is priceless. I do believe "I ATE MY HAND IN ANTICIPATION" will go down in the annals of my all-time favourite comments. :) Sorry it kept you up late but happy it improved your day. If it's any consolation, LJ loathed my script format and it took me 'til 2.30am to get this sorted and loaded. I.was.not.giving.in. ;)

This was just amazing! It was such a compelling story; between the current movie-filming and the gradual reveal of what actually happened to the relationship before the split, I was totally hooked.

I love how we start out with a pining!Colin, but instead of just longing there was a huge dose of guilt and although we know a little bit about why this is it doesn't hit until towards the end. The rift between them was pretty much Colin's fault although nobody noticed because his and Bradley's behavior pretty much mirrored what they assumed had happened. I don't know if that made any sense, but I really like how that worked out :)

Thank you for your really thoughtful comment. It's always pleasing to know that someone enjoyed the structure, as well as the content, if you see what I mean! Glad it hooked you = job done. :)
