Rhiannon. Are you sure that's a product of you? She's pretty damn cute.

I really want to ruffle her hair. But I can wait until her neck can support it.

I also feel like I should be around this child quite a bit in order to give it some good influencing.

(Congratulations, stinkyface! I'm really glad everything's good.)

actually, Jill's a very strong baby; she was picking up her head at 5 hours of age.

also, you should see her with her eyes open - she's even cuter!

P.S. - come see her with Camille, I'd love to see you

There were no real "complications," per se... but I was in latent labor for 10 days and active labor for 29 hours with contractions 1-2 minutes apart for 10 hours. that combined with no sleep, no drugs, and "arrested dilation" (my cervix was hardly dilating), and Jillian's size pretty much made natural labor not an option. at first I was scared and disappointed and upset and weepy, but as soon as you realize -that- you're getting your baby safe and healthy it stops mattering -how- you get her. the worst part of the whole thing was hearing everyone in the OR saying how cute and big she was and how she has so much hair, and hearing her cry, but not being able to see her. it was only maybe 4 or 5 minutes, but it was the longest few minutes of my life.

I do hope I can be a great mom, though, and thank you.

I miss you too, email me your number out there, I don't have it (coastalcutthroat@hotmail.com) and I will definitely give you a call.

oh my god you have the cutest baby in the world.

she already looks like a person. you know what i mean? it is very rare that a baby looks so distinct so young. she already has an expressive face. i love babies with lots of hair.

congratulations.
