oh, this is danas opinion cuz im a livejournal reading freak.. i say patent, shiny is good.. i have some patent black ones coming.. but im poor so theyre imitation.. my favorite ones are the zimbabwe creepers.. the green and zebra ones.. ill save my money so one day i can have really tacky shoes like that.

yeah...the non-patent can always get shined but you can't un-shine the patent ones. word.

Go with the non-patent! The shiny ones will stand out too much if the rest of your outfit is low-key.
