Glad you got through all that. I don't know how current Methodist business works. It was different out in the country 50 years ago.

As for us, (Shadycrest Baptist Church) we're struggling with the loss of a pastor. He resigned over a question of authority and started another Baptist church about five miles from us. Of course, many members went with him.

Those who remain, a large majority plus all the other staff members, will now begin a search for a new pastor. I chair the committee that will nominate members for election to a Pastor Search Committee. (Also an Interim Pastor Search Committee.)
