What? I haven't been posting? oops, sorry.
But enough of that... it's Halloween! And I decided to do something I've wanted to do for years: I bought a Dremel and some pumpkins. These are the results thus far:
This is my first one, a SpiderLis. The spider was stencilled on, the web was done freehanded.
This was inspired by a pic I saw of a Jack Skellington jack-o-lantern, but I went one step further and made it two-sided. I liked the finished piece so much I carved it two more times in the same day (one in a pumpkin residing at Pravda, the other in a small seedless watermelon at Flanagan's).
It looks exceptionally nice lit up.
This was a test to see if I could do the logo for One Eyed Jacks. For the record, stencilling sucks... but the pumpkin came out very well.
