I actually don't have "way too many blogs" anymore, I basically have one plus a writing journal. I post to "regna" on DW, I click the "crosspost" button so it auto-posts to LJ and Inksome.
... honestly, I wouldn't even bother keeping the LJ and Inksome mirrors if it weren't for the fact that, well, there are people on those sites (like you!) who haven't migrated to Dreamwidth and who I don't want to lose touch with. But yeah, it's not like they have different content. It's just one blog that posts to a few different locations. Keeping up with different friendslists is the only part that takes any effort at all, but since it's either that or lose touch with a portion of my friends...
The DW, LJ and Inksome blogs are copies of eachother? That would be different yeah.
I'm not too fond of changing things if it's not necessary. Maybe I'm too much a creature of routine and tradition, so I'm sticking with LJ for the forseeable future. If I did migrate to for example, Dreamwidth, wouldn't my LJ become some kinda archive? This crossposting thing, does that work the other way around? From LJ to Dreamwidth, or is that solely a Dreamwidth feature?
They're just mirrors, yeah. One "main" journal, one for writing. I don't think I'd know what to write in three different blogs anymore.
Nah, it's just a DW feature sadly. You could set up your DW to crosspost automatically to your LJ (so it could be kept active and not just an archive - that's what I'm doing), but not vice versa. Anyway, I will stay partly hang around at LJ as long as I have friends there, so. :)

Also, you should write "Jill and the Phallic Beanstalk of Doom".
