i'm gonna have an essay in hipmama. though it was edited for length, so i wonder what it will be like. i do tend to be wordy. the topic is becoming a granny when most women your age have small children or are having babies.

I was at a friend's birth Sunday night and killing time while they were having a cesarean, reading the Hip Mama they had in their bag, and I read your (good) article, and I thought your name sounded really familiar, and then I just googled you and figured out that I used to read your zine a million years ago.
