Although I agree that no matter what the outcome of the election was that it wouldn't have been good, I don't think all these people who came out and voted for the first time and got involved for the first time, will keep up with their effort for change. People are negetive about politics, all people, not just crazy pestimistic anarchists, but people in general. And an election like this, one where there was actually a big push to remove a guy from office and Kerry almost came out victorious but still lost, will only make those people feel like their vote doesn't matter. And since many believe that their vote is the only thing they have to offer to politics or the country, then they will just become more apatheic than ever. And the people who voted for Bush, the blind patriots, will only feel more assured that their way is the right way. Now Bush's people dont even have to worry about reelection and can do more now then they could the last four years. Especially considering the republicans picked up more seats in the senate.
