Scenario: Your elderly mother, who had open-heart surgery a few months ago, is out driving and gets rear-ended by a dump truck. She is banged up and has a large cut to her leg, and is being kept in hospital for the afternoon, possibly overnight, for observation, in light of her recent surgery. You go to work at least until someone can get there
