Kurtis and I managed to have a fun and unforgettable wedding for approximately 350.00 dollars :)

I know it CAN be done for like $50 and a coupon for coffee, but adding little bits here and there adds up.

Here's a short version of what we did

We wanted something non religious and non formal. We couldn't get a Justice of the Peace in the timeframe we wanted and officiants in Portland tend to be in the class of wrangly assed Stevie Nicks wannabe hippies who charge at least $500 to burn sage around you and cast the circle(s). Umm, NO.

We had another reception at our favorite restaurant for dinner.

You can have a pretty kick ass wedding for under $1000 if you're willing to do a little work for it.
Mind you, A full blow out wedding at a reception hall with all the trimmings can be done for under $10K. (By NJ standards, that's pretty fucking cheap considering I've been to some weddings that were done for around $25K)
