If Lila were here, it'd all be okay. No, that's not true. If Lila were here, rather than feeling guilty about leaving her at home, I'd feel guilty for leaving her alone in the apartment too much. At least she's happy. But I'm miserable, and I miss my cat, and I don't know where to live in May or September or whenever, and I need another job but

Yeah, well. Remember when we couldn't wait to grow up, get a job, do whatever without a parent over our shoulder? Now, all I think of is that I'll have to work for the rest of my life, at the very least to support myself, and prolly to support a wife and a couple of kids. And then... put THEM through college. :(
