Tokio... has always had a bit of trouble connecting to the world. It's like the phenomenon where a kid scrapes their knee and doesn't fuss about it until they show someone and someone ELSE fusses. Kind of like that, only. For his entire life. There are a few exceptions to this, protecting people and people IN HIS FACE!11
--> protecting people is his number two motivator, number one is to kill dear old brother. Well. Stop dear old brother, which probably means kill.
--> he is easily topped and kind of likes it but has no idea what to do with it.
Tokio was never very close to his family. His parents were pretty distant and intimidating/commanding. His mother was a bit of an ice queen, all proper and bitter. His father was the Perfect Family Head and Protector of K City. His brother was the Heir. Tokio was leftovers, and he was okay with that.
--> Tokio loves to read ad magazines, like the kind on airplanes and in supermarkets
--> he doesn't actually register his 'favorite anime', but it's something to do, a schedule and is mindless
He has always been okay with the idea of being extra or support. Being family head kind of disturbs him -- not the fact that he's 'young master', because he was that before too, but the idea that he is supposed to lead things. He can do things his own way, but is not the best with teamwork/leadership and would rather default (like he does to Kazuto, at first) and let people do their own thing. But if it looks like They're Doing it Wrong he will step in... without telling them. Communication is not a skill of his, usually.
--> his older twin was the person he was closest to before brother dear fell into mitclan
--> he always feels a bit vaguely apologetic to Hakutaku and the paper girls and everyone because he isn't his brother.
Tokio reads voraciously but isn't so good on retention. He would often read on camping trips or whatever the family did for family... out...ness. And had a habit of spacing out when they were training. He sometimes walks into walls if he's not paying attention.

--> he is technology retarded.
After brother did his thing Tokio immediately threw himself into training and everything, but completely and utterly cut ties with the outside. While he became more competent and fighting and such he stopped going outside and didn't talk to anyone except Hakutaku for like, months. Then he slowly eased back into household life but still hasn't quite gotten up the courage to enter 'real life' again. (canonically only leaves the house to fight demons).
