An odd question...

Does anybody know what the rules are in Washington State regarding importing alcohol? (a single bottle of a very particular vodka, in this case)

Easy? Difficult? Impossible?

From where?

If you are talking about a drive up to Canada it is fairly easy. The duty free also has some brands you don't normally see in the states.

Ah, yah, should have mentioned. This would be coming from the UK...or at least, that's the only place where I seem to have found distributers.

If anyone is wondering, the specific item I am looking to find is Snow Leopard Vodka.

It appears that you are a private citizen would be committing a crime to import hard alcohol into the state. Something about the state not getting it's sin tax dollars for the import.
Aside from that part, I know that liquor stores will not order less than a case of anything.

Just my $0.02

You may come in with a liter of hard alcohol, or import it directly for personal use, without any use tax not more than 3 times a year.

Order your vodka. You'll be fine.

(You can trust me on food importing rules. I do it for a living, after all.)
