I continue to improve. :) Only 7.258 miles today (didn't stop at DQ, didn't bike to my morning job since I was running late) but I did it in 34 minutes, 4 seconds, averaging 12.8 mph ( Read more... )

I know! It's perfect! Every time I sit down to try and at least start outlining it I come up with more awesome stuff to put in. I know how Asgard and Limbo fit into the Nevernever and I'm making connections between Ferrovax and Lockheed and I'm trying to figure out a way for Guido to show up mainly so he can flirt with Molly and it's writing Jamie through Harry's perspective because I'm keeping the first-person narrative from the books and when stuff starts jumping out of the woodwork Jamie and Harry both assume it's about them and yeaaaaaaah. I so need to learn to focus.

I'm not sure the word you want for Guido is 'flirt'. I think it's more like 'flirt and do everything possible to nail the girl right up until the large scary wizard-man threatens to turn you into something Awful and you don't know he's not actually allowed to do that so you back off."

Guido is about as wide across the shoulders as a Humvee, I really doubt he's used to being the intimidatee. Harry might just manage it though.

Short stories is another possible way to go. This does not reduce my number of decisions. ;)

Well, whatever of them I do actually get down to writing will no doubt be posted here, and if I don't I'll probably be wanting someone to give them a lookover and you are definitely on my short list for that.

Well, I'm not doing a full crossover, because that would be scary and take forever. :) This is just Jamie, probably Guido, and phone cameos from Kitty plus maybe one or two others. Limited scope. I am not as ambitious as I was in my youth. *coughcough* Y'know, because my youth was so long ago.
