A few weeks ago, my friend Shelly celebrated her 50th birthday.  It was a very vclassy event, as was to be expected.  The invitation said, Semi-formal.  We knew that meant as dressed up as we could get.  Party was held at the Montage in Beverly Hills  (http://www.montagebeverlyhills.com/) - VERY nice.

So we got dressed up.
