Today I met with the doctor that I'm working on the freelance project with...and now we're back on track! (for awhile there, it was looking a little lackluster). I'll be drawing intestines now full time ( Read more... )

I'm always moving, it seems...(sigh). Well, Jon wants to sell the house and get another one, but evidently it's very complicated and time-consuming, and in the interim he wants to move in with his mother.
I don't really want to live with his mother (who is a wonderful person, we get along GREAT, but I feel the dynamics would be wrong for us).
So I'll go back to the U.S. and just live there til Jon gets a house...I don't know, really...I've realized that as long as Jon is the owner of the house , I'll never get to decorate, or truly have my own space. Decorating is my business! I've felt a little stifled because of this...

I was in the middle of that book when a certain storm made me leave town. Pretty good---I love the story about the little girl and the bricks. Maybe I'll get to finish it.

You're kidding me! I haven't gotten to the part about the bricks...so you're in Tennessee?

No, I stopped there for a day but I'm back in New York for good. It kind of feels like I never left: I got my desk at my old job back (though not the job itself) and I still hate the subways (the electric sewer). But I'm doing well, got some illustration work, looking for a place to live.
