I've been feeling very homesick for New Orleans lately...Michael Hurtt and Matty are down there right now, I wish I could be there! It made me sad talking to Michael tonight, because I was thinking of my little apartment and the things I used to do

Nothing! New Orleans to me is family, my roots, my heart and soul. The glamour is what is going to help it make it through. Roaches and the other problems can't change that.

People in New Orleans are saying it has made them appreciate the city more because it was almost lost to them.

The parades were good over the weekend despite the misty cold damp. I hope they'll be selling crawfish bread this weekend. I have three friends coming in so my house will be full and I really can't wait.
