iamsamssoul asked: Sabriel!
Warning: This also fits into my 'verse that I've got going on right now. So there will be Castle stuffs mentioned in here...I can't help myself. Also, if this reads like it's a fairytale, that's because it's supposed to be like that.
Gabe loved New York, which didn't really surprise anyone. So whenever Sam and Dean decided that they were going to take a trip to the city and visit Kate, the archangel always begged to go along, and Sam could never tell him no. He was kinda whipped like that.
So, thanks to Gabriel's love of the Big Apple, the amount of trips there increased, much to Beckett's pleasure as well as Gabriel's.
But at one point, it all went wrong and both Kate and Gabe were lost to the same cause, the murder of Beckett's mom.
Kate though, didn't stay dead. The angels had ordered her to be brought back because her time on earth wasn't over yet. But there was no sign of the archangel.
Sam sunk into a depression after that. He was pining for the archangel and everyone around him could see it and it broke their hearts to watch.
After a while though, he stopped crying, he got out of bed again in the mornings, and he started to go through the motions. But no one was fooled into thinking that his heart was healed.
It went on like this for two years. Until one day, he heard a familiar laughter and the crinkle of a candy wrapper. He spun around and there he was.
Gabriel.
Sam started crying as he pulled the once-dead archangel to him and started to hug the everloving crap out of him. Gabriel, who was used to the fact that Sam was kind of a girl about these things, let him and may or may not have clung onto Sam as well.
And so, all became well again. Dean had his nerd angel, Kate had her moronic author/hunter, and now Sam had his candy-loving archangel. Yes, everything was going to be just fine.
As long as Gabriel stopped messing with the Impala every five seconds.
