bring something bigger than a stick too. You hit it, it runs, then you have to chase it. Better to just kill it outright.

The problem was that the landowners were very anti-gun, anti-hunting. I'd be happy just watching it chase someone also.

Javelinas also make pretty swell eating. The thing is, you have to kill it away from its stink gland located on the lower back. If you shoot it (or I guess beat it to death) do so away from its ass.

somehow I'm not surprised a vicious animal grew hesitant and retreated when faced with two giggling, grinning, stick weilding humans whispering excitedly "there it is! there it is! Frank take a picture first!"
