Arrrg! Curses! Of course you ask about going out to eat someplace awesome followed by an uber cool movie when Rabbit and I are out of town.... Hopefully next time, though!
I haven't heard anything about the French being insulted, either, but then again I tend to tune out people insulting other cultures. Not a very good habit of mine. Good for you for standing up for them as a culture!

There was some pretty base talk about the french at the Drunken Barn Dance this past Saturday. Don't think there's much more than one or two on my LJ f-list who have ever gone beyond playful slants. I'm certainly not pointing a finger at you or Rabbit - in fact, I don't think I've ever heard even a wisecrack from either of you. If I have a finger to point, I'll point it very publicly.

I'm the one that's referred to you as a cheese-eating surrender monkey on more than one occasion. I won't do that anymore, rest assured. As for the other, well, it was a Drunken Barn Dance. I'm not surprised there was base talk of any kind. Did they talk smack about any other nationality, or just the French?
